I saw the back of your shirt and I was wondering if you were the same Jun Lin.
And you were! Lols.Today I read the newspaper and there was an article. Nah read-
It appears that singles all this while have been praying to the wrong saint in their quest for love.
Saint Valentine, the Christian martyr for whom Feb 14 is remembered, is actually the patron saint for those who have already found their soulmates, Britain's Roman Catholic Church says.
Saint Raphael is the patron saint for happy encounters and it is to him that singles looking for love should properly direct their prayers, the Church says, according to BBC News.
St Raphael, according to Catholic canon, helped Tobias enter into marriage with Sarah, who had seen seven previous bridegrooms die on the eve of her weddings.
It is he who is associated with helping to forge partnerships.
"If you are still looking for your soulmate, the actual patron saint is St Raphael," BBC quoted Miss Clare Ward, spokesman for the Catholic Enquiry Office, the official body providing information on Catholic life, as saying. "He's the person you should dedicate your day or pray to if you are looking for Mr or Ms Right."
St Valentine is said to have been martyred in Rome in AD269 for marrying couples against the order of Emperor Claudius II, who wanted more single men for his army.
On the eve of his execution, he is said tohave signed a note to his jailer's daughter: "From your Valentine."
Correcting another common misunderstanding, Miss Ward said: "The note had no romantic content, but it's from this story that the tradition of sending notes of appreciation has come from."
