Hello!
Today, school ended at 12.30pm and there were no extra classes afterward.
As I've saved up enough to finally get pierced, I decided to go for it today instead of next week.
After school, Sara and Xin Yi accompanied me to my house as I had to get my cash.
Then, we headed to Simei's Eastpoint Mall for lunch at '18 Chefs'.
The restaurant was really nice.
Nice ambience, nice food, a really great hangout for us.
The restaurant is opened by 18 ex-convicts by the way, hence the name.
Sara and Xin Yi ate cheese baked rice while I had dessert.
We're so going back there next time.

After lunch, took bus 5 to Far East Plaza.
We were searching for a washroom and after our toilet break, proceeded to Primitive Art Tattoo and Piercing.

Went into the shop, and I told the lady that I wanted my navel pierced.
This would be my official first body piercing and first needle piercing as well.
I told her that I wanted the bottom done and not the top part.
She asked me to show her my belly and asked why not the top part, like her's as she showed us.
She then asked me what type of stud I wanted, and told me that piercing with a plain barbell costs $55.
I asked her what other studs are available and she showed me the various ones they carried.
After a while, I decided on a plain light turquoise barbell.
Initially almost chose a pink one, but changed my mind to the light turquoise one.

After choosing, I was required to fill in a form with my particulars and health status.
Signed it, then paid for the piercing.
After that, she escorted us next door to where I'm going to get pierced.
We were making some noise as Sara and Xin Yi were nervous about recording the piercing process.
I wanted them to help me record but only one was allowed to follow me.
LOL.

A male piercer, whose name I believe is Idil but I'm not so sure, came out and told us to come back in 10 minutes time.
Went out, and talked about piercings, and who was supposed to help me record.
After a short while, the piercer called me in.
Went into a small room in the studio.
Sara, who was chosen as the camerawoman, wasn't allowed to go in the room after all :(

Anyways, the piercer closed the door and asked me to lie on the 'dentist chair'.
He explained to me aftercare procedures.
After some preparation, he asked me to stand up so that he could mark the spot where the needle will pierce.
After marking me up, he asked me to look in the mirror to check.
I looked, and it looked okay, so I lied back down on the chair.

I didn't really see the process as I wasn't looking when he pierced my navel.
But I know he clamped the part where I was to be pierced, then positioned the needle.
Said the obligatory "Take a deep breath", and the needle went though, slowly I think.
Yea, it did hurt a bit and I was squeezing my eyes shut and my eyes got a little teary.
The needle was through and all that was left was to feed the jewellery through it.
Feeding the jewellery through the piercing hurt a little too.

So after a few minutes, the piercing was done.
I was throughly satisfied to finally get pierced once again after some time.
Went out where Sara and Xin Yi were waiting for me in the shop.
They said they were getting worried when they couldn't hear anything coming from the piercing room.
LOL.
Me thinks they should get worried if they hear me screaming my ass off in that room :3

Went out, and we talked about piercings again.
I was walking around like some retard, pulling my skirt away from my belly.
Har har.
Sara found out that she was allowed to pierce her second lobe and Xin Yi wanted to do so too but didn't have enough money.
Walked to a accessory shop and I offered to lend Xin Yi money for her piercing today if she wanted.
Well, after some persuasion from Sara and I, Xin Yi agreed and we went to 77th Street.
We kinda had to drag her cuz she was nervous and insisted on Sara joining her.

We did manage to get her on the chair though ;3
She chose the type of studs and planted her ass on the chair before she changed her mind.
Xin Yi paid half of the cost while I paid the other half.
The lady marked out the spots as usual and asked her to check if it's alright.
Sara and I helped her check too and yup, it was perfectly fine :)
So Xin Yi was grabbing my arm while she got her ears done.
Right ear first, then after the left side was done, she suddenly yelped 'Gah!'.
Her exclamation was so darn adorable it sent Sara and I into hysterics.
Okay, not exactly hysterics, that would be exaggerating, but it was funny :)
Even the salesgirl was smiling, haha.

Sara says she's gonna get her's done only when either one of us gets something pierced, which I believe would be after the O Level Oral exam?
Well, Xin Yi and I aren't gonna let her go without her getting pierced!
Hee hee.

Yup, Xin Yi and I took the same bus home afterward while Sara took a different one.
We talked alot about piercings on the journey, as well as a little about cars.
Alighted and arrived home earlier than expected, around 5.10pm.

Today was a really good day :)
My decision to get my navel pierced today was rather unexpected, but I'm totally loving the experience.
